The Hashtag Debates are an attempt by the 7iber community (www.7iber.com) to expand the online discussions to a larger offline audience.

The hashtagdebates seek to bridge the gap between the online and offline worlds,
by creating an opportunity for a community of Jordanians with a genuine interest in debating and discussing vital national and regional issues.

The 1st Hashtag debate was held on February 16th, and discussed the impact of social media on raising political awareness.

The 2nd Hashtag debate was held on March 7th and discussed reforming Jordan
