Exhibition Opening & intimate jamming session with Shadi & Firas from Namleh

Diwan Makan is an art installation that takes on the form of a playful ‘Majlis,’ an Arabic style seating arrangement in our main hall. The installation is made up of different fabric patterns, commissioned artwork by Omar Al Zobi, and a sculpture by Samah Hijjawi.

Diwan Makan is an invitation to Makan’s friends to activate the space for various discussions and dialogues for the next three months.

Join us in opening this space as you enjoy refreshments by Taghmees and a special jamming session on our rooftop initiated by Namleh at 8 p.m.
