question: what do artists talk about?
answer: everything and nothing, space and volume, normal and queer, sex and death.
And, why?
answer a: because art practice is so wonderful, artists want to share it with the world.
answer b: because art practice is so lonely, artists need a group, at least every once in a while.
answer c: if a tree falls in a forrest and no one hears it, is Leonardo da Vinci a genius?

Who is Adam? Adam Davis is a multidisciplinary artist who is in Amman as an artist in residence in Bait Makan. His practice involves sculpture, installation, video, animation, photography and more. He has had numerous solo and group exhibitions and has been an artist in residence in several spaces nationally and internationally. Over the course of his career, Adam has found himself working and teaching in as varied environments such as a correctional facility, a wayward home for pregnant teens and a private women’s liberal arts college. Adam currently resides in Los Angeles, California, where in addition to his professional studio practice he is an Assistant Professor of Art at Scripps College.
